Philip graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's in Physiology/Neurobiology in 1999. He received his Master's degree in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2007 and his Executive MBA in 2025. He has worked as a scientist for Yale School of Medicine, Pfizer and Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. He has held leadership roles with Abcam as Head of US Antibody Discovery and with Twist Biopharma Solutions as Director of Downstream Antibody Characterization.
